that thou art

Some rivers flow to the east; others to the west.
Rivers become one with the sea.
They become the sea.

And, just as these rivers, when they are in the sea,
do not know: I am this river or that,
in the same manner, these creatures,
when they have come from the Being,
do not know that they have come from the Truth.

That which is the subtle essence,
in that all that exists has its Being.

That is the truth.
That is the self that thou art.
